About The Position

The Human Resources(HR) Generalist will play a key role in supporting SharkNinja's HRBP team and be a trusted resource for employees and leaders. The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of HR functions and best practices and be capable of handling everything from administrative tasks such as opening reqs, writing job descriptions, to creating onboarding plans and employee relations. The HR Generalist will partner closely with leadership teams to ensure HR programs and initiatives are aligned with company objectives and culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of HR experience, with a focus on HR generalist functions.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships with all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Exceptionally strong attention to detail.
  • A highly organized, flexible and good multi-tasker who can meet challenging deadlines.
  • Ability to handle confidential and delicate matters.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs.

Nice To Haves

  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist HRBPs in performance management and talent processes including collecting talent data, consolidating information across functions, preparing visuals such as 9-boxes and helping to drive the annual performance management process.
  • Prepare onboarding plans and schedules for a smooth new-hire onboarding process, coordinating with cross-functional departments to deliver the tools needed for new-hire success.
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers, handling inquiries and resolving issues related to employee relations, conflict resolution, and workplace concerns.
  • Assist employees with benefits-related questions and issues.
  • Work with HRBPs and leaders to create and revise job descriptions and open job requisitions for new and backfill roles.
  • Use HR analytics to provide insights into workforce trends, turnover, employee satisfaction, and other key performance indicators to drive decision-making.
  • Optimize and manage HRIS systems and workflows to improve efficiency and employee experience.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Administer and enforce company policies, updating as necessary to align with regulatory changes.
  • Assist in the design and delivery of training programs, ensuring SharkNinja's workforce is continuously developing new skills and growing within their roles.
  • Support DEI initiatives, helping to create a more diverse and inclusive workplace where all employees feel valued and supported.
