About The Position

Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, the Human Resources Generalist will focus on a wide range of human resources duties, with a focus on training and development and employee relations. This includes serving as a point of contact for employee concerns, conducting investigations, implementing and facilitating training programs, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • One to four (1-4) years of experience in a generalist or related HR role.
  • Proven experience in employee relations and investigations.
  • Experience with training program coordination and delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS software (Workday) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with sensitivity and discretion.
  • Continuous improvement mindset; seeking ways to drive innovation and efficiencies throughout the organization.
  • Flexible and willing to learn; adapting to business and site needs in a dynamic environment.
  • Maintain a positive, approachable and professional attitude

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support all stages of the recruitment and hiring process, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Manage and coordinate onboarding for new employees in partnership with internal teams.
  • Administer and oversee compensation, benefits, and leave programs in compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain and update accurate employee records; ensure timely and precise HRIS data entry.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Prepare, analyze, and present HR reports on key metrics such as headcount, turnover, and engagement.
  • Drive and support the implementation and rollout of the future HRIS system, including performance management processes such as goal tracking and feedback.
  • Plan, organize, and deliver a variety of training programs for new hires and existing employees.
  • Conduct engaging new hire orientations in collaboration with the team, including skills assessment and essential information sharing.
  • Identify and develop training opportunities that align with business objectives and support employee growth.
  • Maintain accurate records of training participation, completion, and outcomes.
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and assist in resolving workplace concerns.
  • Conduct confidential investigations into complaints, harassment, discrimination, and policy violations, ensuring fairness and compliance.
  • Provide guidance to managers on performance management, disciplinary actions, and progressive discipline processes.
  • Assist in developing and delivering employee conduct and anti-harassment training programs.
  • Coordinate and conduct exit interviews, analyze feedback, and report trends to support retention strategies.
  • Ensure consistent application of HR policies and procedures across the organization.
  • Perform additional HR duties as assigned to support overall department goals.
