About The Position

Human Resources Generalist II provides mid-level, comprehensive HR support by managing day to day operations, including benefits administration, recruitment, employee relations and compliance with federal/state laws.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 4 years of related HR experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of HRIS systems, proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Must be able to perform tasks on a daily basis with minimal supervision.
  • Must be available to work after hours and weekends as required by management.

  • SHRM-CP preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative support to the Chief Human Resources Officer.
  • Assists with HRIS, policy interpretation and performance management, often acting as a liaison between employees and management.
  • Helps to ensure the organization is well supported with the talent and resources necessary to achieve overall business strategies and objectives.
  • Leads full-cycle recruitment, including posting, screening and onboarding/offboarding processes.
  • Manages employee benefits, open enrollment and tracks leave such as FMLA.
  • Investigates and resolves complex employee issues, providing guidance on company policies.
  • Maintains employee records in HRIS and analyzes HR metrics for compliance and reporting.
  • Provides a high level of service and support to all employees.
  • Ensures all processing, input, recordkeeping and reporting of employee data, employment information, and employee benefits information is accurate and timely.
  • Provides relevant, timely, and accurate reporting of information to the CHRO as requested or required.
  • Assist the CHRO to ensure all professional staff is appropriately credentialed, certified, and/or licensed within the context and requirements set forth by laws, policies, the Bureau of Primary Health, JCAHO, and related accreditation or regulatory organizations.
  • Ensures the organization, its policies, and practices, are complaint with all local, state, and federal employment laws, regulations, benefits laws, and related legislation. Stay current of employment laws on the local, state, and federal level to ensure ongoing compliance, and to protect the organization's interest through proactive planning and preparation.
  • Establishes and ensures favorable relationships throughout the organization.
  • Functions as a trusted advisor to all employees, managers, and executives.
  • Helps to ensure our workplace is conductive to the growth and development of a high performing team. Establishes collaborative and supporting relationships among and within all areas of the organization.
