In this role, you’ll support faculty, staff, students, and volunteers by coordinating recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and records management. Your job duties in action: Student hiring & onboarding: From posting OPS positions to managing employment actions—appointments, salary changes, terminations—you’ll ensure every student is hired, trained, and on payroll in a timely manner. Compliance champion: Track and enforce all UF and federal training requirements, review audit reports, and proactively resolve gaps. Volunteer program lead: Coordinate on‑boarding, documentation, and compliance, turning volunteers into empowered contributors. Record‑keeping steward: Maintain precise personnel files, mitigate risks, and provide clear reports to leadership. Continuous improvement advocate: Identify workflow enhancements, contribute to HR projects, and help foster an engaging workplace culture.
