About The Position

Human Resources Function Specialist, Lead The Opportunity: Partner with leaders to guide and support employee performance, behavior, workplace conflict, and risk management. Work in partnership with business leaders to comprehend team and individual performance or behavior concerns, recommend strategies to improve performance or address behavioral issues, follow up for successful completion, and monitor for improvement. Identify, resolve, and escalate barriers and risks in a timely manner, and serve as a champion of change to drive adoption of innovative approaches, programs, and technologies. Contribute to the strategic direction, formulation, and implementation of Human Resources (HR) operations, and drive process optimization and positive employee experience. Evaluate the employee environment using data and insights to identify gaps and drive opportunities for improvement. Engage partners across Security Services, Legal, Ethics, Compliance, and Investigations as needed to assess risk and finalize employee disciplinary actions or terminations as needed. Facilitate and document complex HR situations, including mediation and conflict resolution. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience working independently to support and communicate with leaders to manage difficult, complex employee performance and behavior situations in a fast-paced and high-volume environment
  • Experience with administration and facilitation of performance improvement plans
  • Experience partnering with key stakeholders, including Security Services, Legal, Ethics, and Investigations, to discuss risk mitigation strategies related to employee behaviors or employment concerns
  • Experience identifying technology or AI solutions to optimize and automate HR operations
  • Experience using data insights and analytics to comprehend trends and develop solutions that lead to measurable impact
  • Experience working within the technology or government services industry
  • Ability to lead large‑scale projects or end‑to-end operational processes by identifying inefficiencies, implementing streamlined workflows, and driving continuous improvement initiatives
  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in Human Resources, or 10+ years of experience in Human Resources in lieu of a degree
  • U.S. citizenship is required
