About The Position

The Human Resources Director at Saint Joseph Medical Center is responsible for formulating and supervising programs related to employee selection, training, promotion, and welfare. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • 3 years of related healthcare experience in an acute care hospital setting.
  • Familiarity with hospital organization and functions of various departments.
  • Knowledge of current personnel practices and techniques, including review techniques and training methods.
  • Familiarity with labor market laws, wage and hour regulations, and ERISA guidelines.
  • Knowledge of state and federal wage and hour laws required.
  • Familiarity with Joint Commission and HFAP standards.
  • Experience with labor union relations and negotiations highly preferred.

Responsibilities
