About The Position

We're seeking an experienced full-time Human Resources Director to join our team at our corporate office in Watkinsville, GA. This position is responsible for supporting 250+ employees across multiple states, while collaborating with leadership to align HR strategy with the company's goals.The ideal candidate is someone with experience in navigating full cycle human resources functions. This candidate is a self starter who is detail-oriented, understands and works with complex processes, is a strategic thinker, and has strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in senior HR management or leadership roles strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field strongly preferred.
  • Experience level may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Strong working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and other leave facilitation and laws preferred.
  • Experience in benefits administration and compliance preferred.
  • Experience managing HR requirements across multiple states preferred.
  • Experience with platforms such as BambooHR, Netchex, Employee Navigator, and Principal preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provides leadership and direction for all human resources functions, including employee relations, compliance, benefits, payroll, and talent acquisition.
  • Provides support and guidance to employees regarding employee relations and disciplinary action items while supporting managers, maintaining compliance, and ensuring consistency.
  • Oversees FMLA, ADA, and other leave facilitation.
  • Oversees strategic planning and execution of employment benefits.
  • Oversees and supports the HR team including recruitment and payroll specialists.
  • Develops a strong HR department through training, team building, and succession planning.
  • Partners with leadership to align HR strategies with organizational goals.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Maintains knowledge of and analyzes HR regulatory changes, best practices, and trends to develop solutions and processes that improve the department and company.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment while dealing with problems involving several variables in particular situations.
