Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
  • 6 years of recent relevant experience in HR or related fields.
  • Valid California Driver's License Class C.
  • Familiarity with national labor market trends and effective labor forecasting, recruitment, and development strategies.
  • Strong understanding of contemporary human resources management and change management.

  • Experience in community engagement and representation on local boards.
  • Knowledge of HR compliance and accreditation standards.

Responsibilities

  • Participates as a member of the leadership teams in charting the future and assuring continuous improvement in overall effectiveness, efficiency, and integration.
  • Serves as HR executive, providing strategic HR partnership and support; acts as a sounding board and advisor to senior leadership regarding employee relations.
  • Collaborates in establishing organizational goals and manages results with senior leaders of the entity or service lines.
  • Reviews proposed department changes with administrators and managers, offering guidance and making recommendations.
  • Monitors and drives employee survey and retention strategy, planning and achieving targets through survey results and action planning.
  • Provides executive leadership to HR business partners/managers/directors, managing operational and capital budgets within guidelines.
  • Oversees compliance with HR laws, regulations, and accreditation standards for the entity or service line.
  • Supports performance management and employee engagement initiatives, helping assess staff and create development plans.
