The Human Resources Data & Systems Supervisor at the Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA) is a leadership role focused on managing HR data systems, reporting, and onboarding processes. This position serves as an expert consultant within the HR department, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of HR data systems that support vital business processes. The supervisor will lead a team responsible for HR processing and onboarding, providing guidance on HRIS actions, data analytics, and system administration.   • Lead WSDA HR Processing and Onboarding Team
  • Supervise HR Processor and Onboarding Specialist
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of personnel actions before payroll cycles
  • Audit personnel and position actions, providing solutions for errors
  • Create and implement standards to improve turnaround time and accuracy
  • Advise on applicable laws and regulations
  • Oversee organization charts and structure within HRMS and SharePoint
  • Provide expert analyses on complex HR data and reporting
  • Act as the HRIS reporting expert and provide consultation on data issues
  • Process complex reports and assign tasks to reporting staff
  • Coordinate the annual HR Managers Report with HR Leadership
  • Serve as HRMS Data Steward and improve HR data analytics
  • Establish priorities and monitor completion of major projects
  • Act as HR's HRIS Data expert and partner with One WA Staff on projects
  • Analyze HR Data to advise management and staff on HR competencies
  • Track and update management on HRMS and data changes
  • Four years of experience in professional human resources, including advising on HR matters
  • Two additional years of experience using Washington's HRMS for personnel actions
  • Three years of experience in analyzing policies, conducting business analysis, or working with HRIS
  • One year of experience supervising or leading in a professional office setting
  • Four years of experience in business administration or related field with HRMS experience
  • Must be able to legally operate a state vehicle and maintain a valid driver's license
  • Experience with SharePoint Administration
  • Knowledge of Washington State labor laws and regulations
