The HR position involves processing HR documents including all new-hire and termination paperwork, training documents, benefits, and employee changes. The role requires tracking and maintaining all new-hire and onboarding requirements, including physicals, background checks, I-9 employment eligibility, and paperwork. The HR professional will conduct new employee orientation and maintain all government and internal required logs and reports such as EEO, AAP, New Hire, and Termination logs. Additionally, the position includes organizing training and development initiatives, assisting in the recruiting process by sourcing, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews and testing as needed. The HR professional will support the implementation of human resources policies, respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, procedures, and employee relations, and participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve processes and employee engagement. Compliance with company policies and employment laws is essential, as well as generating reports and assisting with HR metrics tracking. Monitoring employee morale and company culture is also part of the role, along with providing administrative support to the Office Team. The position requires a monthly visit to an out-of-state facility.
