Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent GED certificate.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain filing systems.
  • Draft and type office correspondence using a computer.
  • Distribute and send correspondence.
  • Order and track supplies and forms for the Human Resources office.
  • Answer phone calls and record messages.
  • Create personnel files for new employees.
  • Assist incoming candidates with application procedures.
  • Maintain a designated space for completing applications, ensuring it is clean and accessible to individuals with disabilities.
  • Respond to employee and management inquiries regarding company programs, policies, and guidelines.
  • Inform HR management of employee relations issues within the division or hotel.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of hotel and employee records, files, and information.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of all employee records and files (e.g., interview documents, I-9 forms).
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, ensuring uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
  • Greet all guests according to company standards.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with others, preparing and reviewing written documents accurately and completely, and answering phones using proper protocol.
  • Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team efforts to achieve common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
  • Ensure compliance with quality expectations and standards.
  • Input and retrieve job-related information using computers and/or point-of-sale systems.
  • Move, lift, transport, push, pull, and place objects weighing 10 pounds or less without assistance.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
