JOB SUMMARYResponsible for supporting all operations of the Human Resources office, including record-keeping, HRIS entry, hiring, benefits, training, onboarding, licensing, employee relations, and employee engagement.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail is required.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to multitask in a high-volume complex hospitality environment.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Three years of experience in Human Resources or related field.
  • Other combinations of education and experience may be considered.
  • Must obtain and maintain a valid racing license.

Responsibilities

  • Provides next-level guest service to internal and external guests. Demonstrates #AddLife culture in all interactions with guests and co-workers.
  • Maintains a high level of confidentiality of all privileged information in accordance with established procedures with company policy and state regulations.
  • Responsible for all administrative duties such as answering phones, greeting team members, creating and maintaining reports, HRIS data entry, etc.
  • Assists with recruitment and onboarding processes, to include scheduling candidates for licensing and orientation, preparing orientation packets, setting up training space, etc.
  • Performs customer service functions by answering team member requests and questions and escalates requests to position supervisor as appropriate.
  • Responsible for maintaining an appropriate level of supply inventory for the Human Resources offices, as well as ordering and receiving all supplies for the department.
  • Responsible for distributing uniforms and accurately tracking uniform inventory.
  • Resolves problems that are within the position's scope of authority and recommends courses of action to resolve problems that are beyond the scope of authority to the position’s supervisor.
  • Assists with the planning and execution of team member engagement initiatives, including anniversary, birthday, and promotional announcements.
  • Infrequently may have up to 10% travel, on an as-needed basis, to other properties and facilities.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
