About The Position

The HR Coordinator is responsible for a broad range of human resources activities in support of Cotiviti’s employees in the US, Canada, Mexico, and Australia. The HR Coordinator provides administrative support throughout the HR lifecycle and directly supports business lines defined by the HR Business Partner model. This position serves as a primary contact for employees, answering questions regarding company policies and practices and directing concerns to the appropriate HR Representative as needed.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience; 4 year degree preferred with HR focus
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in the HR field
  • Developing knowledge of federal and multi-state US law; working knowledge of Canada, Mexico, and Australia helpful
  • Experience working with HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS); UKG Pro and iCims preferred
  • Exceptional client service skills; service orientation
  • Professional with ability to properly handle confidential information
  • Able to prioritize and multi-task, demonstrates flexibility and acceptability
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Results-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate onboarding process for new employees, including reviewing background and reference checks, supporting hiring managers, communicating directly with new hires, and ensuring timely completion of onboarding paperwork.
  • Ensure timely completion of Form I-9 and E-Verify requirements for all onsite and remote employees in compliance with federal regulations and company policy.
  • Lead and present new hire orientation sessions, providing guidance on company policies, programs, benefits, and requirements.
  • Accurately and timely enter new hires into the HRIS system and ensure all required data fields are completed in accordance with company policy.
  • Serve as a key contact for new hires and general employee requests for information on HR policies, programs, onboarding, and benefits.
  • Partner with the HR Business Partner and HR Generalist to support assigned business lines.
  • Draft and communicate employee changes in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Initiate changes within the HRIS system in accordance with the payroll schedule.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all employee data updates.
  • Create separation documents, acknowledging resignations, and answer termination inquiries as needed.
  • Evaluate special state pay requirements and coordinate with the HRBP and Payroll accordingly.
  • Coordinate exit interviews with the respective HRBP and HRG partners.
  • Submit terminations in relevant HR and IT systems in a timely manner.
  • Support IT by providing termination and address information for the recoupment of equipment.
  • Respond to unemployment claims, as needed, per company policy.
  • Ensure data integrity and regularly audit HRIS system and employee records/files in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Run and request accurate HR reports and metrics.
  • Participate in special projects as needed
