About The Position

Summary: The HR Administrator supports the Human Resources function within a fast-paced, event-driven food & beverage operation inside arenas and stadiums.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of HR administrative or coordinator experience, preferably in hospitality, food & beverage, or a high-volume/event-based operation.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and comfortable learning new systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with hourly and event-based recruitment including job postings, prescreening, interview coordination, and hiring events.
  • Facilitate onboarding processes such as new-hire paperwork, I-9 verification, pre-employment tasks, and orientation scheduling.
  • Maintain digital and physical personnel files in compliance with company standards.
  • Ensure accurate and timely entry of employee data into HRIS systems
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to federal, state, and local labor laws, including meal/rest compliance, minor labor laws, and event staffing regulations.
  • Support internal audits, compliance reviews, and policy updates.
  • Assist with weekly payroll processes, including timecard review, edits, corrections, and event-driven hours tracking.
  • Serve as liaison between HR, Scheduling, and Operations teams to ensure accurate roster updates for event days.
  • Monitor attendance issues, call-outs, and timekeeping discrepancies and communicate with managers accordingly.
  • Provide frontline HR support for employees regarding policies, benefits, and general inquiries.
  • Help coordinate employee engagement programs, recognition initiatives, and event-day support activities.
  • Document employee relations concerns, escalate issues appropriately, and maintain records of actions taken.
  • Participate in event-day check-ins, employee credentialing, uniform coordination, and shift support as needed.
  • Assist with large-volume staffing needs during peak seasons, playoffs, concerts, and special events.
  • Assist in scheduling and tracking completion of mandatory trainings (food safety, alcohol service, compliance modules, etc.).
  • Maintain training records and communicate status updates to managers.
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, memos, and other HR documentation as requested.
  • Support HR projects, initiatives, and seasonal workforce plans.
