Human Resources Coordinator

What we are looking for:

We’re looking for a motivated, people-oriented self-starter who’s excited to jump in, learn quickly, and make an impact. This role is perfect for someone who’s naturally driven, biased toward action, and comfortable working at a fast pace with a high volume of tasks. You don’t need to be an HR expert, we’re happy to train you, but having a foundational understanding of HR, payroll, and benefits would definitely set you apart.

You’ll work closely with a supportive HR team and partner with teams across the organization, gaining hands-on experience and real growth opportunities along the way. Requirements

• A resourceful team player with a can-do attitude, ready to jump in and assist wherever needed!
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced, at times intense environment
• Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks, following through to completion
• At least one year of prior HR experience preferred, but not required
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
• Comfortable with an onsite, in office position at our Austin HQ.
• Moderate level of technical skills, comfortable working with office equipment (printers, scanner, etc.) and software including the Microsoft Office and Google suites

Nice To Haves

• Prior HRIS experience is a plus, especially with ADP Workforce Now.

Responsibilities

• Work cross-functionally to assist with executing HR-related functions including: recruiting, onboarding, payroll, employee development, recognition, verifications of employment, team member engagement initiatives, and training.
• Respond to general HR/benefits/payroll related questions timely and accurately, escalating more complex questions to the appropriate team members as needed.
• Monitor the HR inbox, assigning and/or responding to inquiries as appropriate.
• Act as the first point of contact for incoming calls to HR.
• Maintain HR files and records, with an emphasis on accuracy, thoroughness, and confidentiality.
• Monitor completion of all I-9s and E-Verify work authorizations to ensure compliance.
• Provide support to the Payroll Manager on payroll weeks as needed.
• Provide back up coverage to the Corporate Receptionist as needed.
• Assist with HR-related initiatives including annual performance reviews, merit planning, open enrollment, team member development, anniversary awards, and recognition events.
• Execute special projects and assist with the ideation and rollout of new HR-related initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.
