ONSITE HR Coordinator – Tufts Medicine Behavioral Health Hospital Tufts Medicine, a leading integrated academic health system in Massachusetts, and Acadia Healthcare, the largest standalone provider of behavioral health services in the U.S., have partnered to create the Tufts Medicine Behavioral Health Hospital, a state-of-the-art, 144-bed facility in Malden, Massachusetts. Slated to open in early 2026, this hospital is designed to address the growing need for high-quality behavioral health services in the region. The Tufts Medicine Behavioral Health Hospital will serve as a center of excellence, offering inpatient and intensive outpatient programs for patients of all ages. Additionally, it will function as a teaching hospital, providing a vital training site for future behavioral health professionals, including students and residents from the Tufts University School of Medicine. This initiative aims to address the regional shortage of behavioral health clinicians while ensuring a continuum of care for patients and their families. Our HR Coordinators are responsible for human resources core processes including but not limited to : benefits , compensation, labor relations and organizational development.

Requirements

  • High s chool d iploma or equivalent required .
  • Two or more years’ human resources office experience .

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration , Human Resources or related field is preferred .
  • Professional certification in Human Resources preferred .

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate new hire and benefits orientation, employee training programs, hiring support, job analysis, compensation analysis, and/or routine employee relations.
  • Act as first point of contact with employees and supervisors on HR-related inquiries.
  • judgement and discr etion to HR issues and concerns and direct any complex issues to more senior HR staff.
  • Update and maintain employee data in UltiPro and ensure confidential hand ling of sensitive information.
  • Manage processes connected with the onboarding of new employees, process terminations largely consisting of ensuring UltiPro data entry and communication to respective departments.
  • May perform activities in a variety of cross-functional areas and interact directly with corporate employees with respect to planning, problem resolution, process improvement and reporting.
  • Interpret and communicate routine organiz ational policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate and apply information to provide advice to employees and management staff on Human Resources practices, policies, processes and expectations.
  • Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
