About The Position

The Human Resource (HR) Coordinator at Nestlé USA plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of the HR Department within a manufacturing facility. This position involves providing administrative support, coordinating various HR projects, and managing employee-related events, all while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. The HR Coordinator is expected to work onsite five days a week, with flexibility to cover different shifts as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate degree preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in Human Resources, clerical, customer service, or related field required.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or distribution center environment preferred.
  • Strong time management and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative assistance to the HR Department, including answering phone calls, creating communication memos, maintaining department files, and scheduling meetings.
  • Coordinate meetings and food as directed by the HR Department.
  • Prepare and maintain reports from SAP, Success Factors, Kronos, and other personnel databases.
  • Maintain and update company organizational charts.
  • Complete various projects and responsibilities, including announcements, rosters, employee contact lists, PTO calendars, and report analysis.
  • Plan, lead, and manage employee and community events that reflect the company's image and culture.
  • Assist with coordination and administration of cultural assimilation groups and events.
  • Coordinate onboarding and exit activities for employees as applicable.
  • Manage office areas and common spaces.
  • Develop and maintain departmental standard operating procedures.
  • Innovate processes to support the evolution of HR operations.
  • Serve as a site health and well-being champion.
  • Assist with audit preparation and maintain department expenses.
  • Manage attendance system for hourly employees.
  • Administer payroll activities as needed.
  • Serve as the point of contact for HR inquiries from employees.
  • Manage job posting systems and track employee position movements.
  • Support HR recruitment activities for all position levels.
