About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable 2nd Shift HR Generalist to join our team at Klosterman Bakery, a leading commercial bakery food manufacturing company. This role is essential in supporting our HR department and ensuring smooth HR operations during the second shift. The HR Generalist will handle a variety of HR-related functions, including employee relations, recruitment, compliance, benefits administration, and performance management.

Requirements

• At least 2-3 years of experience in an HR role, preferably in a manufacturing or food production environment.
• Strong understanding of HR policies, labor laws, and industry best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software (e.g., HRIS, payroll systems).

Nice To Haves

• SHRM-CP, PHR, or other relevant certifications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for all second-shift employees regarding HR issues, concerns, and questions.
• Assist in the recruitment process by interviewing and onboarding new employees for second-shift positions.
• Coordinate and support ongoing training and development programs for second-shift employees.
• Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local labor laws.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, including employee files, attendance, and performance documentation.
• Support performance evaluation processes, providing guidance to managers in addressing employee performance issues.
• Assist with the administration of pre payroll processing paperwork payroll and benefits for second-shift employees.
• Work closely with the safety team to ensure all HR-related safety protocols are adhered to during second shift.
