Position Overview: The HR Compliance Coordinator supports Human Resources compliance functions by assisting with I‑9 processing, background checks, verifications of employment, and related documentation. This role works closely with employees, applicants, and internal departments to ensure accurate records and adherence to regulatory and CCM requirements. The HR Compliance Coordinator contributes to efficient HR operations through organized recordkeeping, timely processing, and responsive customer service.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in Human Resources or a related field, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with management, department leaders, and branch operations to support effective HR processes and deliver consistent, high‑quality customer service.
  • Communicate with employees, applicants, and internal departments to provide guidance and assistance regarding I‑9 verification, background checks, verifications of employment (VOEs), and personnel documentation.
  • Coordinate and process I‑9 forms, ensuring timely completion, accuracy, and compliance with federal requirements.
  • Manage background checks, monitor results, and ensure all employees meet applicable verification and compliance standards.
  • Process and track verifications of employment (VOEs) in accordance with CCM procedures and regulatory guidelines.
  • Review and process letters of explanation and related documentation as needed.
  • Oversee the administration, posting, and maintenance of required HR compliance posters.
  • Maintain accurate and organized personnel files and assist with data updates and recordkeeping.
  • Support compliance audits by preparing documentation, reviewing records, and assisting with corrective actions as needed.
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for compliance‑related inquiries and route escalations to the appropriate HR or management resources.
  • Assist with identifying opportunities to improve HR compliance processes and recommend updates to procedures, training, or documentation.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with recruitment and onboarding activities as needed.
