About The Position

The Human Resources Compensation Intern role at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is designed for university students seeking to gain practical experience in the IT industry. Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a university program with a focus on Human Resources, Finance, or a related field.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in mathematics and Excel.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a sense of curiosity.
• Ability to research independently and reach out to others for information.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Power BI, Access, Visual Basic, and Python.
• Prior leadership experience through extracurricular activities, volunteer work, or other organizational roles.

Responsibilities

• Learn about compensation processes within the human resources function at HPE.
• Understand how work is classified and how team members are compensated, including base salary, bonuses, and stock options.
• Gain insights into organizational budgeting, manager and team member training, and reporting at a global level.
• Apply attention to detail to audit information related to compensation.
• Contribute to improving processes and bringing new ideas to the compensation team.
• Analyze compensation data and support various functions within the compensation team.
