Requirements

  • 1+ years of related experience in compensation analysis or a similar role within human resources.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, contributing positively to team operations and working relationships.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel skills, including the ability to perform functions such as VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and basic data analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including macros, complex formulas, and data modeling.
  • Familiarity with HR Information.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the administration of compensation programs, ensuring they are carried out effectively and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Serve as support for designated functional areas, providing expertise in job evaluations, salary recommendations, and issue resolution.
  • Offer backup support for compensation tasks across the organization, ensuring continuity and consistency in compensation practices.
  • Review external market competitiveness and internal equity to identify trends and disparities.
  • Participate in salary and compensation surveys for both salaried and hourly positions, ensuring the organization's compensation data is accurately represented in the market.
  • Compile and analyze survey data to assess the organization's position relative to the market and identify areas for adjustment.
  • Engage in key compensation projects, including annual merit review cycles, market pricing reviews, and strategic planning initiatives, contributing analytical support and insights.
  • Collaborate with the Total Rewards team and HR leadership on special compensation projects, providing data analysis and recommendations to support decision-making.
  • Generate regular and ad hoc reports to monitor the effectiveness and competitiveness of compensation programs, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Act as a key problem solver for compensation issues, working closely with the HR and compensation teams to develop and implement solutions.
