About The Position

At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for this role is between $17.75-$24.75 per hour, and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set and level of experience. Other components of Hormel Foods’ total compensation package include comprehensive medical, dental and vision coverage, discretionary annual increases, profit sharing, 401(k) with employer match, stock purchase plan, paid vacation, FREE two-year community/technical college tuition for children of employees. RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides the HR Manager and HR Coordinator with administrative support in all aspects of the human resource function at the Osceola Plant. The person in this position:

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Good communication and customer‑service skills

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate employee files
  • Prepare HR documents and process onboarding paperwork
  • Assist with scheduling interviews, meetings, and new hire orientations
  • Respond to routine HR questions and direct inquiries as needed (using translation devices when applicable)
  • Support payroll and timekeeping with basic data verification
  • Handle general office duties such as filing, scanning, copying, and organizing documents
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
