About The Position

The Human Resources Business Partner at Cornerstone Building Brands plays a crucial role in developing and implementing strategic HR programs in collaboration with plant leadership. This position focuses on enhancing employee experience and supporting business strategies through various HR activities, including performance management, employee relations, talent acquisition, and compliance with employment laws.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field required.
  • 3+ years of human resource experience in a manufacturing/production setting.
  • Strong employee relations experience, creating and delivering people practices that maintain positive working relationships.
  • Experience in managing HR investigations and reporting.
  • HR experience in managing and implementing programs related to employee training, labor relations, and benefits management.
  • Strong technical skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.

Nice To Haves

  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification preferred.
  • Bilingual - Fluent in both Spanish and English would be a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality HR service and support a broad range of HR responsibilities.
  • Partner with all levels of employees, primarily supervisors and individual contributors, to enhance the employee experience.
  • Execute change readiness activities to prepare for future challenges.
  • Reprioritize actions for immediate implementation of ad-hoc topics or assignments.
  • Execute existing and new HR solutions and capabilities.
  • Help achieve financial goals by executing lifecycle people solutions.
  • Partner on hiring and development and advancement of team members, including onboarding new hires.
  • Support change management efforts and nurture company culture.
  • Take a proactive approach to Employee Relations, providing guidance and issue resolution.
