About The Position

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) at IHG plays a crucial role in aligning business operations with HR practices and objectives. This position requires a deep understanding of the business's strategy and the ability to provide dynamic solutions through experience, thought leadership, data analysis, and organizational agility. The HRBP is responsible for consulting and coaching departmental leaders and managers to support the business's vision, mission, and overall objectives. This role is pivotal in delivering a comprehensive and consumer-driven people service, ensuring that both people management and commercial strategies are aligned effectively. In this role, the HRBP will develop key relationships with stakeholders, understanding their needs and partnering with them to optimize business performance. They will assess and anticipate human resources-related needs, analyze data trends and metrics, and facilitate various HR functions such as organizational design, talent acquisition strategies, compensation and rewards programs, talent management, performance management, and change management. The HRBP will also proactively address and resolve employee relations issues, including EEOC charges and sexual harassment claims, in collaboration with the business and legal counsel. Additionally, the HRBP will provide training and coaching to People Managers, promoting an inclusive, diverse, and engaged workforce that embodies IHG's winning ways culture. Collaboration across HR on major initiatives, policies, and significant issues will be essential, as the HRBP continually explores innovative ways for continuous improvement within the organization.
