We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Generalist to join our team.   • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding benefits related questions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR systems.
  • Generate reports and analyze HR data to support decision-making.
  • Maintain physical and digital files for employees and their documents, including benefits, attendance records, annual reviews, etc.
  • Create onboarding plans and educate newly hired employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives.
  • Organize and coordinate employee events and activities.
  • Evaluate employee performance, evaluate pay scale, assist with annual reviews, and coordinate disciplinary actions, including terminations if necessary.
  • Support the performance management process, including goal-setting, performance reviews, and feedback sessions.
  • Collaborate with managers to identify training and development needs for employees.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization through orientation, training, and providing necessary resources.
  • Conduct exit interviews with departing employees to gather feedback, identify trends, and address any concerns or issues related to their departure.
  • Coordinate the termination process, including notifying relevant stakeholders, collecting company property, deactivating access, and processing final payments.
  • Prepare termination documentation, including termination letters, separation agreements, and related paperwork, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations throughout the termination process, including adherence to notice periods, severance requirements, State leave laws and final paycheck deadline.
  • Assist with offboarding activities, such as updating employee records, removing access to company systems, and communicating departure details to relevant departments.
  • Handle termination-related inquiries and issues/complaints from employees, managers, and other stakeholders, providing guidance and support as needed to maintain positive employee relations.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in human resources roles, with a focus on generalist responsibilities such as benefits, leave administration, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration.
  • Previous experience in a similar industry.
  • In-depth understanding of human resources principles, practices, and regulations, including employment laws, compliance requirements, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems, recruitment tools, and performance evaluation methods is also desirable.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with employees, managers, and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are necessary for building positive relationships with employees and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • The ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and develop practical solutions is essential for addressing employee relations issues.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills are required to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced HR environment.
  • Demonstrated discretion and integrity in handling confidential information.
