About The Position

Position Summary: The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will serve as a hands-on and strategic advisor supporting client groups at our Pomona, CA manufacturing site. With the support of HR Shared Services, this role partners directly with leaders and employees at all levels to deliver forward-thinking HR solutions that enhance organizational capability, drive talent outcomes, and support a culture of continuous improvement. This role requires strong technical and analytical skills and ability to learn numerous business systems. As a change leader, the HRBP will accelerate the adoption of organizational initiatives and ensure alignment with business strategy, while modeling the company’s values and strengthening its culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive human resources experience required.
  • Deep working knowledge of Federal and California employment laws required.
  • HRIS proficiency required; Workday experience highly preferred.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new tools/systems required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Forms, Copilot, and Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) required.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret data and recommend actionable solutions required.
  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity and autonomy required.
  • Comfortable in providing candid, respectful pushback to mitigate risk while maintaining strong partnerships required.
  • Ability to delegate effectively to ensure high-value work remains the focus required.

Nice To Haves

  • PHR or SPHR certification highly preferred.
  • Experience working in a matrix environment is highly preferred.
  • Experience with Canva preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as a strategic, trusted advisor and thought partner to leaders, providing insights that shape talent strategies and organizational priorities.
  • Uses data and workforce analytics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities related to turnover, staffing capacity, and organizational health.
  • Addresses complex employee relations issues with professionalism, sound judgment, and timely resolution; escalate appropriately.
  • Conducts workplace investigations and maintain thorough, compliant documentation.
  • Partners with HR Shared Services, leave management vendor, and EH&S to manage leaves of absence and ensure compliance.
  • Supports the performance management and talent review processes, including calibration and succession planning discussions.
  • Partners with staffing agencies and site leaders to oversee contingent workforce staffing, performance, assignment longevity, and compliance.
  • Facilitates training sessions—both virtual and in-person—to reinforce HR policy understanding and elevate leadership and employee capabilities.
  • Drives employee engagement efforts by facilitating feedback sessions and supporting purposeful, business-aligned site initiatives.
  • Stay current on federal, state, and local employment laws; advise leaders and collaborate with HR leadership and Legal to maintain compliant practices.
  • Partner with EH&S to support safe work practices, site audits, and compliance activities.
  • Apply Envista Business System (EBS) continuous (CI) tools and actively participate CI initiatives to solve business challenges and streamline processes.
