About The Position

SkyWater has a great opportunity for a Human Resource Business Partner at our site in Austin, TX. Will coach frontline and mid-level managers on "people matters" and adapt / deploy strategies to support site business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 2-3 years of Human Resources Business Partner experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and labor regulations.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work 80% onsite, including some evening hours.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for non-exempt production employees, Supervisors, and Managers, ensuring an engaged and productive workforce.
  • Manage employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, investigations, and disciplinary actions, while ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws.
  • Support performance management initiatives, including coaching supervisors on feedback delivery and employee development.
  • Drive engagement and retention strategies tailored to the needs of a manufacturing workforce.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including ADA, FLSA, and EEO regulations.
  • Provide feedback and analysis to drive HR process and practice improvement.
