The Opportunity: The Human Resource s (HR) Business Partner is a pivotal role within the HR team partnering with management to deliver high quality support. This person will provide consultation, advice , and guidance to Business Leaders, as well as support for organizational changes by carrying out initiatives and process improvements. In this role, you will: Support employees and managers with routine, day-to-day HR questions, needs, and inquiries, providing service and guiding teams to the right resources to ensure a quality and timely solution Conducts meetings with respective business units on a regular cadence. Consults with business unit management, providing HR guidance when appropriate. Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies. Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations. Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Oversee the Performance Management review process. Ensure feedback tools are being utilized and development plans are being conducted on an on-going basis. Ensure performance plans are being utilized timely, consistently and fairly. Supports management in performance management, disciplinary actions and terminations. Act as liaison with Talent Acquisition to ensure a smooth onboarding with new employees, including conducting new hire orientation. Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. Coordinating all paid and unpaid leave of absences for all team members; to include FMLA, non-FMLA, Workers Compensation Oversee the Wellness program. Organize and lead company wide wellness initiatives that enhance the health and well-being of employees. Facilitate and administer company-wide training programs that address important workplace issues such as Harassment in the Workplace and Ethics Training. Provide guidance on workforce planning, succession training, and organizational design. Stays current of local, state, and federal laws affecting human resources. Face to face interaction and coordination of work with other employees
