About The Position
As a Human Resource Business Partner, you'll be the go-to person for all things people-related for over 300 Software Engineers. You understand that building strong, lasting relationships is key to success in influencing decision-making and changes. You thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments, and ambiguity doesn't scare you. You'll work closely with department leaders and the broader HR team to make Alarm.com an even better place to work, shaping the employee experience at every stage of the employee life cycle. Your day-to-day will involve managing a variety of HR processes like performance reviews, employee development, hiring, succession planning, and handling employee relations for your assigned groups. Your goal? Making sure our employee experience is top-notch and in line with our long-term plans and goals. This helps us keep our talented team members around and uphold our reputation as a fantastic place to work. As the main contact for all people matters, you'll provide personalized support to department heads, managers, and employees. Whether it's one-on-one help or addressing broader HR needs, you'll be there to guide them. This position will be based out of our HQ office in Tysons and will report to the Manager, Human Resources who oversees the Platforms HR Business Partner team. We value in person collaboration and require working from the office Monday - Thursday each week.
