We are seeking an HR Business Partner for a northcentral Wisconsin (near Wausau) 24/7 Dairy Plant. Our client is a Fortune 250 company, and this role is critical in ensuring that the human resources function aligns with the operational needs of the plant. The HR Business Partner will proactively recommend ideas and solutions to effectively address the needs of the organization, ensuring that HR strategies are in place to support the business objectives. This position requires a strong focus on employee relations, compliance with policies, and the ability to influence and coach leaders within the organization. The HR Business Partner will be responsible for educating leaders to ensure consistent application of policies and union contract language while promoting positive employee relations. This includes conducting investigations and making corrective action recommendations, with the appropriate level of management intervention. The role also involves interpreting complex and ambiguous situations while consistently applying company policy and union contract language to understand challenges and mitigate risks. The HR Business Partner will work closely with the HR Leader to ensure compliance and coordinate responses to legal issues such as EEOC, FMLA, and other policy-related matters. This position is essential in fostering a positive work environment and ensuring that the HR function supports the overall goals of the plant. The HR Business Partner will need to inspire trust and respect, bring people together, and drive results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
