About The Position

Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD) has an immediate opening for a Human Resources Business Partner Supervisor located at a negotiable location in Nebraska. The position closes June 20, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. Central Time. This position will report to the HR Operations and Employee Relations Manager. The incumbent is a working Supervisor, responsible for direct supervision of NPPD’s Nuclear and Non-Nuclear Human Resources Business Partner team and is accountable for support of NPPD’s recruiting and hiring activities, employee relations/field support, and support of other key HR efforts such as legal compliance, key performance indicators/metrics, improvement activities and other key strategic initiatives. Responsible for ensuring HR Business Partners (HRBP’s) deliver value added services to Business Units and employees, in the areas of talent acquisition, retention, behavior modification, conflict resolution, performance management, succession planning, workforce risk analysis and planning and that they are performing as strategic partners with NPPD business units and bring people perspective to the business unit’s management team. The position will be the first point of contact for the majority of employee issues at a level beyond the HR Business Partners.
