The Human Resources Division is part of the Enterprise Services Department and impacts many areas of the City, including some of the following: Benefits Administration, Employee/Labor Relations, Compensation, Classification Reviews, Performance Management, Recruitment, and Selection. There are six collective bargaining units at the city that we support. Employees may be hired at either the Junior (Management Analyst II) or Senior Human Resources Business Partner role based on their experience and job knowledge, skills, and abilities in human resources administration. Those hired as Senior Human Resources Business Partner will also be involved with multiple unions and participate in labor relations. The Human Resources Business Partner provides a wide range of human resources consultative and technical assistance to all City departments and employees. Employees in this classification are responsible for administering assigned element(s) of the City's human resources program including, recruitment and selection of employees, development and maintenance of the classification and compensation system, performance management, design and analysis of salary surveys, organizational development analysis, training, employee relations, and labor relations.
