About The Position

We are seeking a seasoned Human Resources Business Partner III who will provide a full range of HR functions to support the day-to-day operations for the HR team supporting business services. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 10 years of experience as an HR generalist in a corporate setting with full cycle substantive HR experience in all functional HR areas, in particular employee relations, talent development, recruiting, training & Development, compensation & benefits. This position will drive both tactical and strategic HR initiatives and support the HR Team Leader in the delivery of business results and drive best practices. This role is based in our corporate office in the Buckhead area of Atlanta, GA. This is not a remote position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered.
  • 10+ years' experience as a full cycle HR Generalist.
  • Experience working in large corporate and/or matrix environment desired.
  • Experience working at a subsidiary or regional headquarters of a multinational corporation (MNC), with exposure to global HR practices and cross-cultural collaboration, is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communications, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with SuccessFactors and ADP Workforce Now WFN is highly desirable.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a close business partner to the team leader of Human Resources by implementing strategic initiatives through the understanding of business strategies and long-term goals.
  • Develop, implement, and deploy training initiatives for LG Chem in the America’s.
  • Drive employee relations activities for US sites including scenario training development and proactive issue resolution.
  • Create and implement talent development programs including mentoring programs, train-the-trainer, career counseling, foundational leadership training, etc.
  • Lead and resolve employee relations issues by conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations involving workplace misconduct and employee concerns.
  • Create employee engagement plans, receive necessary budget approval, and initiate activities.
  • Lead system integration with support from the Process Innovations (IT) team for HR system updates and upgrades.
  • Lead compensation initiatives including benefits assessment for cost competitiveness.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.
  • Review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • HR Projects may be assigned or delegated from LG Chem Headquarters.
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
