Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in Human Resources.
  • HR Experience: 3+ years as a strategic HR Business Partner or a blend of HR and operations experience.
  • Employee Group Support: Experience supporting large non-exempt employee groups (150+ employees).
  • HR Expertise: Broad knowledge across employee relations, compensation, performance management, and employment law; preferred experience in investigations, coaching, employee development/training, project/change management, and HR data analysis.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced Education: Master’s degree in Human Resources (HRM) or an MBA with HR focus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Workday, UltiPro (Ultimate Software), SmartRecruiters, Relias, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Sharepoint, Microsoft Teams, and other HRIS, ATS, or LMS platforms.
  • Professional certifications: such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR.
  • Additional Credentials: Coaching, Mediation, or Project Management certifications (PMP, CAPM) are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong, trusted relationships with managers and employees across your business units.
  • Partner with operations to understand goals and challenges, translating them into actionable HR strategies.
  • Coach and advise leaders on employee relations, performance management, investigations, and team development.
  • Support organizational change initiatives, growth planning, and workforce development efforts.
  • Collaborate with HR peers to ensure consistent, proactive, and solution-oriented communication.
  • Contribute to data-driven HR insights; using metrics and reports to guide business decisions.
  • Lead onboarding and professional orientation for new leaders, ensuring they feel connected, informed, and ready to succeed.

  • Compensation: Hourly rate of $34 to $35, based on experience.
  • Work Environment: On-site initially (90 days), then hybrid—3 days in-office, 2 days remote.

  • Work Schedule: Typically, 8 AM – 5 PM PST, flexibility available; some travel required, 10% of the time to the Everett and Tacoma area.
