About The Position

This role is an exciting opportunity to gain experience about how human resources partners with the business to influence business strategies and initiatives. This position is responsible for partnering with the HRBP’s in developing, managing, implementing and integrating HR program and guidelines to support the client’s strategic objectives. As a liaison between the HR centers of excellence and the HRBP team, the associate HRBP will assist in assessing needs and advancing program work, project timelines and process mapping for new employment regulations, performance management practices, compensation updates and career development practices. This role will assist with multiple projects and initiatives that the HRBP team is working in partnership with the business on. This may include tracking and documenting projects, developing various materials, and attending meetings in support of the requested initiative.

Requirements

  • 2+ years related experience required.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship building skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Handles sensitive company and personal information which requires a high degree of confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.
  • PHR/SPHR.
  • Insurance or healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

  • Uses HR centers of excellence to establish alignment and process improvement across the implementation and deployment effort of the HRBP team.
  • Supporting the HR Business Partner team with ad hoc requests such as creating presentations, developing training materials and serving as point of contact for HRBP projects.
  • Own certain HRBP team processes to ensure team philosophy, knowledge management and process mapping alignment.
  • Partnering with our Talent Development team and Compensation through the year end rating and compensation process.
  • Owning the project management process for the talent and HR implications of an enterprise or business run program.
  • Partner and be an active participant in the HRBP team projects, business partnerships and planning.
  • Consistently review ongoing HRBP team work to ensure solutions support the short and long-term strategic objectives of both the enterprise and that of the HR division.
