About The Position

Responsibilities: Partners with business leaders to shape and execute HR strategies that support business objectives. Leads the implementation of HR initiatives and serves as a liaison to HR centers of excellence. Acts as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, advocating for the HR agenda, aligning business practices with global HR programs, and leading workforce planning activities within assigned areas. Applies data and insights to strengthen HR effectiveness, making recommendations on program goals and priorities and delivering reports on key workforce trends and metrics. Partners with leaders in the business to embed and operationalize Vanguard’s Culture Pillars, advising on how they translate into leadership behaviors, people decisions, and team practices, in collaboration with HR specialists and centers of excellence. Provides day-to-day advice and coaching to leaders and crew on Human Resources policies, practices, and procedures, proactively addressing people related needs within aligned business areas. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Five years related work experience, with at least two years Human Resources experience preferred Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience Experience partnering with business leaders in a complex, matrixed organization Demonstrated experience supporting organizational change Ability to apply data and insights to inform decisions Strong consulting, influencing, and communication skills, with the ability to challenge and guide leaders at multiple levels. Experience working through ambiguity and adjusting support as business needs evolve. Requirements
