As a Human Resources Benefits and Compensation Analyst, you will work under general direction and supervision, applying a consultative approach to collaborate with HR leadership and team members. Your primary responsibilities will include collecting, compiling, and analyzing HR data, metrics, and statistics to make informed recommendations related to programs, policies, benefits, retirement, recruitment, retention, and legal compliance. You may also be responsible for special projects and other areas in HR, such as compensation, reporting, benefits analysis, and financial/accounting responsibilities. This role is crucial in achieving and exceeding personal goals while contributing to the Credit Union's service goals. In this position, you will provide HR data analysis to HR leadership and associates, managing work of moderate to high complexity. You will collect and compile HR metrics and data from various sources, including the human resource information system (HRIS), payroll systems, compensation management systems, financial systems, and employee surveys. Analyzing data for trends and patterns will be essential, focusing on recruitment, hiring, retention practices, motivation, turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations. You will also conduct market research, participate in salary surveys, and develop competitive and equitable salary recommendations, along with conducting classification audits and updating job descriptions to ensure proper documentation and classification of jobs.
