About The Position

The Human Resources Assistant at Mosaic Life Care plays a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and support within the Human Resources department. This position serves as the first point of contact for caregivers and customers, ensuring a positive experience while assisting with various clerical duties and HR-related tasks. The role is essential for maintaining efficient operations and enhancing the overall caregiver experience.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint required.
  • Previous clerical or receptionist experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as a receptionist for the Human Resources department by greeting and assisting caregivers/customers promptly and professionally both in person and by telephone.
  • Processes tickets through Neocase for a variety of HR related items such as new & replacement badges, name changes, PTO hour donations, etc.
  • Assists with caregiver onboarding by contacting new hires to notify them of items still needed, preparation of benefit paperwork, monitors and ensures compliance with I-9 documentation collection & timely completion.
  • Assists with new hire orientation to enter new hire badges into ID system, distribution of stipends and attends orientation to collect new caregiver documents.
  • Provides a variety of clerical duties to support Human Resources including sorting and distributing department mail, addressing cards, sorting and scanning personnel files or documents into online system in a timely manner, etc.
  • May provide assistance with special projects, data entry, mailings and general HR support as needed.
