About The Position

The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for providing support to the Human Resources Teams. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Supports HR Leadership with day-to-day responsibilities as needed Owns time adjustment and time off request processes for SC Team Partners in onboarding and offboarding activities for local and remote team members Enters new team members into the HR information system (HRIS) and maintains up-to-date employment information Keeps accurate records of personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations Maintains HR files including but not limited to personnel files Assists with the coordination of new hire Orientation, including communications and materials preparation Supports Wellbeing initiatives virtually and onsite, including Wellness credits administration Performs weekly and ad hoc reporting in support of internal departments and initiatives Collects and maintains Hep B vaccination information for team members as required by OSHA Assists with the equipment return process for separating team members Serves as first point of contact for team members with general HR questions Triages team member questions from multiple email and fax inboxes Provides support to other HR Departments/areas when needed (Benefits, Recruiting, Training, etc.) Handles sensitive information and maintains confidentiality

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources preferred
  • With a Bachelor’s degree, no experience required; with a high school diploma/GED, a minimum of two (2) years of administrative support experience required
  • Strong computer skills required (Microsoft Office Suite, ADP preferred)
  • Must possess strong communication skills; professional communicator
  • Prioritizing ability in a dynamic environment
  • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills required
  • Ability to quickly build productive working relationships and interact with staff at all levels
  • Ability to work independently and in a teaming, highly collaborative environment

Nice To Haves

  • SharePoint proficiency preferred
