About The Position

The Human Resources Assistant (Military) position within the Department of Defense is a critical role that supports the Cadet ROTC program. The incumbent will manage enrollment documents, coordinate training, and resolve disenrollment issues while liaising with other recruiters to ensure proper placement of Cadets. As the sole Human Resources Assistant in the unit, the individual will serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance on regulatory compliance and advising on policy matters. This role involves processing scholarship forms, counseling Cadets on program requirements, initiating reimbursements, and verifying financial payments for contracted Cadets. Additionally, the assistant may serve as a Unit Prevention Leader, ensuring compliance with testing protocols and coordinating assigned duties. The position requires monitoring the Cadet life cycle, advising on academic performance, and coordinating Human Resource Support efforts within the task force. The role is essential for maintaining the integrity and efficiency of the Cadet program, ensuring that all regulatory guidelines are followed and that Cadets receive the necessary support throughout their training. The assistant will work closely with various stakeholders to facilitate a smooth operational flow and address any issues that may arise during the Cadet's journey. This position is located in Clemson, SC, and is primarily on-site, requiring a strong commitment to the responsibilities outlined.
