About The Position

Rush Specialty Hospital, a partnership between Select Medical and RUSH, is a 100-bed facility that combines a critical illness recovery hospital and an acute inpatient rehabilitation hospital. Our critical illness recovery hospital is committed to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients who require extended healing and recovery. We help patients during some of the most vulnerable, painful moments of their lives – and Registered Nurses (RNs) play a central role in providing compassionate, excellent treatment every step of the way. As an HR Assistant, you will report to the HR Director and you will be responsible for the clerical and secretarial duties of the Human Resources department, as well as, provide additional support to Administration/CEO and other departments, as needed.

Requirements

  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have at least 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • College courses are preferred.
  • Prior experience in a healthcare facility is also preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Clerical responsibilities, such as typing, filing, compiling records.
  • You must have word processing skills and the ability to prioritize and complete assignments in a timely fashion.
