The Human Resources Area Manager at Schlitterbahn is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the HR office, including onboarding, employee relations, and the management of HR interns. This role requires a strong focus on administrative and operational support, ensuring that HR functions run smoothly and efficiently.

  • Assist in the management of the HR office functions including scheduling and coverage.
  • Coordinate and conduct interview training.
  • Oversee all uniform operations including inventory, ordering, and organization.
  • Assist with management of all HRIS functions for associates.
  • Assist with a variety of employee relations activities.
  • Develop and supervise execution of various associate programs.
  • Train, supervise, and guide seasonal HR staff.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 3-4+ years related experience in a supervisory role required.
  • Advanced MS Office skills, including building and creating Excel spreadsheets and writing formulas.
  • Ability to demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to utilize Microsoft Access databases.
  • Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work.
  • Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
