About The Position
Under the direction of the VP and Chief Finance and Administration Officer, the Human Resources and Volunteer Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources (HR) function while managing the organization's volunteer program. This hybrid role ensures regulatory compliance, effective HR practices, and efficient systems while coordinating the recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention of volunteers. The position supports the full employee and volunteer lifecycle, helping to cultivate a high-performing and mission-aligned workforce and volunteer base.
