About The Position

Dear Media is seeking a Human Resources (HR) and Office Manager to provide comprehensive HR support and manage office operations. The ideal candidate will engage with employees, contribute to a positive company culture, and handle various HR functions including recruitment, payroll, benefits administration, and employee engagement. This role is based in Austin, TX, and reports to the President.

Requirements

  • Mid-level experience in Human Resources or related field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Experience with recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Knowledge of payroll processing and benefits administration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ATS optimization and process improvement.
  • Familiarity with performance management systems.
  • Event planning experience for employee engagement activities.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full cycle of recruitment efforts and develop new hire orientation and onboarding processes.
  • Handle sensitive employee information with confidentiality and discretion.
  • Administer and manage employee performance reviews and automate the APR process.
  • Audit and maintain accurate personnel files and records.
  • Assist in planning and executing company culture events.
  • Manage employee timecard processing and payroll-related tasks.
  • Administer employee benefits during open enrollment and address staff inquiries.
  • Develop and implement personnel policies and procedures, ensuring compliance.
  • Maintain the upkeep of office common areas and oversee daily operations.
  • Serve as the primary contact for office operational issues and manage inventory of supplies.
  • Partner with leadership on project implementation and internal communications.
