About The Position

The Human Resources Analyst at Advantage Technical is responsible for administering various employee attendance programs and leaves of absence in compliance with company policies and regulations. This role involves ensuring proper documentation, conducting corrective actions, and serving as a liaison between management and medical departments. The analyst will also identify opportunities for process improvements and maintain accurate records related to employee attendance and leave management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Pivot Tables.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with the National Attendance Program (NAP), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and Medical Leave of Absence (MLOA) policies.
  • Clear employees for Personal Days, Bereavement, Failure to Call (ART), and Jury Duty.
  • Conduct corrective actions and discipline based on AWOL reports and NAP guidelines.
  • Document corrective action hearing outcomes accurately.
  • Follow up with line management to resolve open NAP and tardiness issues.
  • Audit NAP and tardiness TWOs coding and correct as necessary.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for line management on NAP interpretation.
  • Maintain all required documentation related to FMLA administration.
  • Serve as a liaison between line management and the local medical department.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline current processes between Operations and Labor Relations.
