Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of public personnel administration principles.
  • Ability to collect, evaluate, and analyze information for personnel-related studies.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to establish working relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough interviews with individuals involved in complaints to gather critical facts.
  • Prepare investigation plans and interview questions by analyzing complaints and identifying key issues.
  • Foster and maintain professional relationships with Department Heads and HR Liaisons.
  • Manage and prioritize caseloads that include administrative tasks and coaching responsibilities.
  • Conduct site visits to the complainant's place of employment when appropriate.
  • Analyze gathered information to prepare Workplace Investigation Reports and Conclusion & Recommendation Reports.
  • Create accurate and timely communications, including documentation and reports.
  • Handle high-stress situations with objectivity to ensure impartial investigations.
  • Understand relevant laws and regulations to inform investigation processes.
  • Recommend policies and best practices for compliance with personnel rules and regulations.
  • Facilitate the FMLA review and approval processes.
