The HR Administrator II position at Infosoft in Axis, AL, is a full-time role that supports plant management in enhancing employee morale and engagement. This role involves a variety of HR functions, including payroll processing, training coordination, onboarding, and serving as a liaison between the plant and the community. The position is critical in maintaining employee records, managing the hiring process, and assisting with corporate HR programs. The role is designed to ensure smooth HR operations within the plant environment.

  • Process plant payroll and maintain updates in the Kronos time system.
  • Prepare and process all forms and Master data changes including local address, tax, and pay rate changes.
  • Maintain accurate PTO accrual records and report regularly to plant personnel.
  • Conduct employee orientation and onboarding, including training plan creation and background checks.
  • Provide administrative support to HR and manage plant communications and paperwork.
  • Maintain all employee files and oversee the upkeep of the file room.
  • Manage the hiring process, including creating requisitions, phone screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.
  • Handle the employee referral program and ensure timely payments.
  • Administer local STD/FMLA claims and assist with corporate HR programs such as open enrollment and performance reviews.
  • Plan, budget, and coordinate all plant employee activities and collect monthly data on hours worked and recognitions.
  • Serve as the social media contact for plant activities and manage the plant's communication system.
  • Receive and enter invoices for payment in SAP and prepare requisitions for the site.
  • Assist with travel arrangements for plant management and coordinate lunches for meetings.
  • Manage janitorial, vending, and off-site record storage services.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • HR Certification preferred.
  • 3 - 5 years of HR administration experience required, with preference for HR/Payroll experience.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Kronos and other HR systems is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • General knowledge of local, federal, and state employment laws.
  • Understanding of HR policies, procedures, and recruitment processes.
  • Experience with Success Factors or another Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Ability to quickly learn new computer programs used by the company.
