Requirements

  • 1+ years of Human Resources experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated skills in Microsoft Office suite, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Must maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • High level of integrity and accountability.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Remarkable customer service attitude and skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Works well independently yet is cooperative in working with team members.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead with the new hire onboarding process by ensuring proper communication, completion of tasks and leading new hire training on their first day.
  • Lead and coordinate all employee engagement activities and events.
  • Implement and lead safety and new hire training.
  • Assist with employee benefits.
  • Assist with recruiting process.
  • Prepare and maintain HR documents.
  • Assist with processing worker's compensation claims.
  • Assist with OSHA compliance.
  • Maintain data in HRIS system.
  • Assist with a variety of HR projects.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service to team members, employees, external contacts, and applicants.
  • Build and support a culture of openness and accountability within (and outside) the Human Resources team.
  • Other duties as assigned.
