About The Position
The Human Resources Specialist will work in conjunction with the Chief Human Resource Specialist for the UHM Athletics Department, providing technical advisement to staff and Athletics administration. This role encompasses all aspects of HR management and administration including classification/compensation, recruitment and selection, onboarding, leaves, labor relations, payroll, and employee benefits. The specialist will monitor and manage the execution of coaches' employment agreements, manage internal position control files, and advise on HR statutes and university policies. Additionally, the role involves preparing visa requests, managing timesheets, and conducting investigations on personnel matters.
