Overview: ITility is seeking an experienced, results-oriented HR Generalist to provide HR support services to facilitate IC workforce management. This individual will be a member of a cross-functional team. This position is contingent upon contract award. This position will sit onsite at the Client location in Washington D.C. HR Generalists - Workforce Management Provide core operational support of the full employee lifecycle supporting hiring processes, onboarding coordination and workforce/recruiting alignment. They are skilled in employee relations and conflict resolution, leveraging strong organizational skills and HRIS proficiency.

Requirements

  • Possess current Top Secret (TS) Clearance with SCI and a Counterintelligence (CI) scope polygraph.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience of human resources management required.
  • 10+ years of experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.
  • Possess general knowledge, skill and ability with at least two of the following HR operational functions to include, but not limited to Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, HR Strategy and Policy, Performance Management, Awards & Recognition, Equal Opportunity and Treatment, Employee-Management Relations, Employee Classification, Employee Benefits and Compensation, Security Clearance processing, Onboarding and Offboarding, Military Manpower and Personnel Management.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and follow through on tasks.
  • Ability to manage and execute multiple assignments concurrently.
  • Ability to act with integrity and professionalism and maintain confidentiality.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment related laws and regulations.
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, conflict resolution and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, time management and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to build relationships and trust with team members and stakeholders.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and contribute to the Intelligence Community as part of Team ITility

Nice To Haves

  • SHRM-CP or PHR or other HR certification is a plus.
  • Experience supporting the Intelligence Community in a Human Resources role.

Responsibilities

  • Act as HR and Workforce Management generalist, supporting a wide range of human capital integration functions and service delivery.
  • Maintain knowledge and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations (EEO, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, USERRA, ERISA).
  • Collaborate with HR leadership and client partners to optimize HR programs, processes, and compliance best practices aligned with organizational goals.
  • Support recruitment efforts to ensure alignment with workforce needs.
  • Assist with hiring processes and onboarding operations, including security clearance coordination, EOD scheduling, I-9 verification, and HR system updates.
  • Conduct new hire orientation and serve as primary HR point of contact for general employee inquiries, routing complex issues to appropriate team members.
  • Facilitate offboarding processes, including exit interviews, termination paperwork, equipment returns, and trend reporting.
  • Support employee recognition initiatives to foster engagement and retention.
  • Process employee data changes and maintain accurate HR records.
  • Build strong relationships with HR peers and client partners to drive human capital goals.
  • Serve as a resource for HR policies, procedures, and general inquiries.
  • Provide day-to-day operational support and assist with ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned.
